Terms of Service
Effective 10 June 2026 · Operated by Carson Rodrigues, sole proprietor, Goa, India
These terms govern your use of the Celabe Concierge website and, together with your engagement letter, the planning service itself. Submitting the intake form is free and does not commit you to anything; engaging us does, and these are the rules of that engagement.
1. Who we are
Celabe Concierge is a wedding-planning service for Goa destination weddings, operated by Carson Rodrigues, a sole proprietor based in Goa, India (“we”, “us”). Contact: rodriguescarson@gmail.com. By using this site or engaging the service you accept these terms.
2. What the service is — and is not
For a flat planning fee, we:
- turn your intake into a planning brief: budget split by vendor category, booking timeline, Goa-specific watchouts;
- source vendors from the Celabe Goa vendor network and beyond, and build shortlists;
- contact vendors on your behalf, collect quotes, and present them side by side;
- negotiate pricing and terms before anything is booked — you approve every booking;
- track the booking timeline and payment milestones through to your wedding.
Day-of coordination is an optional, separately priced add-on delivered by a human coordinator. What we are not: we are not a vendor, a venue, a caterer or a marketplace guaranteeing vendor performance. Vendor contracts are made directly between you and each vendor (section 6).
3. AI-assisted, human-approved
We use AI to do the legwork: generating your planning brief and budget allocation, and drafting vendor outreach. A human reviews and approves AI output before it reaches you or a vendor. Even so: briefs, budget splits and timelines are planning estimates, not guarantees — actual vendor prices, availability and conditions in Goa will vary. How your data is used in AI processing is described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Eligibility
The service is for adults. You must be 18 years or older and able to enter a binding contract to use it.
5. Fees and engagement
- Intake is free. Submitting the form gets you a planning brief and first shortlist with no payment and no obligation.
- The engagement begins when you accept a written engagement letter (or equivalent written confirmation) and pay the planning fee or agreed deposit.
- The planning fee is flat, typically between ₹75,000 and ₹1,50,000 depending on scope (guest count, number of functions, day-of coordination). The exact fee is stated in your engagement letter and does not change unless the scope does, in writing.
- Vendor commissions. We may receive a commission (typically around 5%) from vendors booked through the Celabe network. We disclose this so you can weigh our recommendations; the quotes we present are the prices vendors offered.
6. Vendor contracts and payments
- Every vendor booking is a direct contract between you and the vendor. We negotiate and coordinate, but we are not a party to that contract.
- Advances, cancellation charges and refunds for vendor bookings are governed by each vendor’s own terms. We will tell you what those terms are before you book, and help you pursue vendor refunds if things change — but we cannot guarantee them.
- You pay vendors directly unless we agree otherwise in writing in your engagement letter.
7. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information and tell us promptly when plans change.
- Approve or decline shortlists, quotes and bookings within reasonable time — wedding-season availability in Goa moves fast, and delays can cost options or money.
- Pay vendors on the milestone schedule in their contracts.
- Use the service lawfully and only for planning your own event.
- Third-party personal data. You warrant that you have the authority or consent to share all personal data of other people that you give us — guests, family members and anyone else named in your intake or notes — and, for any minor (under 18), that you are the child’s parent or lawful guardian or hold the guardian’s verifiable consent as India’s DPDP Act 2023 requires (see our Privacy Policy, section 13).
8. Cancellation and refunds
Cancellation of the engagement and refunds of the planning fee are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Intellectual property
We own our planning materials, templates, vendor data and software. Deliverables produced for you (your brief, comparisons, timeline) are yours to use for your wedding; please don’t republish or resell them.
10. Liability
- We are not liable for the acts, omissions or performance of vendors, for venue or weather conditions (including monsoon disruption), or for events outside our reasonable control (force majeure).
- Our total aggregate liability arising from the engagement is capped at the planning fee you actually paid us.
- Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Termination
You can end the engagement at any time in writing — refunds per the Refund & Cancellation Policy. We can end it if you materially breach these terms or ask us to do something unlawful; in that case we refund any fees for work not yet performed.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer protections where you live, disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Goa, India. Write to us first — most issues are resolved by talking.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the version on this page with its effective date is the one in force. For an active engagement, the terms in your engagement letter prevail over later website changes unless you agree otherwise.
